This manual was developed by Stu Girling for his students of Anatomy and Physiology as part of their Yoga teacher training courses but is suitable for everyone who wants to have a foundation in Anatomy within the context of its application to Yoga practise.
The manual contains 25,000 words, 90 pages and numerous illustrations to help in the explanation of topics. It covers the systems of the human body, giving greater emphasis to those that have the most relevance to yoga ( e.g. Respiratory, Muscular, Skeletal, Circulatory and Nervous). As often as possible themes are discussed in terms of their application to yoga.
